I have been quite obsessed with neon colors since the '80s. I'm totally loving that they are making a comeback, and big time! I have already stocked up on some neon pink and orange nail polish and neon pink wallet, which gets more compliments than anything I own. I'm thinking a neon watch would be fun too. :)
I was also super surprised and totally excited to see that AC Moore is now stocking neon colored yarn!
I had no idea that Deborah Norville designed yarn, but I guess if Vanna White can do it why not Deborah Norville. This yarn is very similar to Vanna's Choice, which I love, so I am super happy!
It seemed a little pricey for a small skein of worsted weight yarn, I think it was $4.50, but I couldn't resist. I picked up skeins of the neon yellow and orange, and then went back the next day with my 50% coupon and bought the pink. I might go back this week with my 40% coupon and get some green. I just wish she had chosen neon blue instead of purple. The purple really isn't all that neon.
I already have my neon yarn project picked out and in the works. I really hope to have it finished and posted on next week's Yarn Along. But, you might want to wear your sunglasses. It is pretty bright. :)

What are you making with the neon yarn or are you keeping it a surprise?
ReplyDeleteI'm making the bobble stitch sunglasses case from my last post. It is super cute, but really bright. At least it will be easy to find in my purse. :)
