After several months of not much crafting, but tons of writing, I am back! I am happy to announce that I did in fact win NaNoWriMo this year! Forgive me as I do my little happy dance. I am also about 20,000 words away from completing my first novel! That I am REALLY excited about. My plan is to have it completed by the new year, so I can have my local critique group look at it and then start the editing process.
Also, the local library that hosted many of the local NaNoWriMo events gave all of the winners a fancy trophy. I think it looks great on my Christmas mantle.
I would like to thank the Academy. . .
Crafting, of course, was put on hold for the entire fall. With doing my research and writing pretty much non-stop, I just didn't have any time to craft. But, January will be when I dive back into my crafting, even with a fun and economical year long craft-a-long.
I did get a little crafty treat last month, when two of my craft projects were published in Interweave's Stitch Gifts 2014 magazine. Super cool! While I was in Barnes and Noble this past weekend I noticed it is the featured title in the craft section. Pretty awesome!!!
And as you have probably noticed, I am giving my blog a little face lift. My plan is to have it all done by the new year, so please bear with me for the next couple of weeks. :)
