Crocheting and Reading - Leaf scarf

Crocheting:

Working on some new items for my Etsy shop, including some leaf scarves. Below is the beginning of a really fun Halloween inspired one.

I'll also be making a scarf with fall leaves and, hopefully, a holly one for Christmas. The Halloween and fall leaves scarves should be in the shop early next week, along with some Halloween play food, like my Halloween felt doughnuts.

I love Halloween!

Reading:

Getting pumped for NaNoWriMo in November. In between crafting and decorating the house for fall, I am preparing for the ginormous writing challenge that is NaNoWriMo. I really need to get my characters set, my setting in mind, and my plot outlined, so I have started reading First Draft in 30 Days. I've really only got the month of October to prepare, so I'd better get cracking. Once November 1 comes, the writing begins!
