Take two of my Cath Kidston blanket. This time around I am using a size H hook, which is working a whole lot better, and lighter colors. I still have a few more colors to go (white, red, blue), but I am really liking this color combo a lot better than the previous one. The colors are matching my living room better too.
Reading:
I've been reading a lot of children's books lately for a little writing inspiration. I found The Girls' Cookbook - A collection of recipes that are perfect for your little chef at my favorite used book store. It is absolutely adorable. I especially love the padded, pink, polka dotted cover and super cute graphics. The recipes are super simple, but the pages are so cute and girly. And look what is in the background of the photo for chocolate chip cookies. . .
Yep! That is a Cath Kidston tin, in my blanket colors! I found out the book was printed in the UK. As I flipped through the book, I noticed that almost every page had something Cath Kidston on it. I knew it was a great book!

ReplyDeleteGreat treasure and I love the colors in your square!
ReplyDeleteGood start to the blanket. I used to J for everything, then switched to I, and often now grab H.
