This Girl Creates

Lately I've been questioning my choice of profession. It is most likely due to the state of the economy, but also my mental well being that I am thinking so long and hard about my career choice. Unfortunately, once you are in a career for so long it is very hard to change without taking a significant pay cut.

But it would be really fun, though, to pack up and venture into a totally different occupation. What would I do? Well, here are my top 5 choices. Some are normal, others are a little out there!

#3. Bookstore Owner

I would love to own my own store. It would either be a yarn store or a children's book store. If I chose the latter, my store would be just like Meg Ryan's in You've Got Mail.

#2. Safe Cracker

Yes, I know this one is a little crazy, but I have always wanted to learn how to crack a safe. I think it would be so much fun to have a job like Charlize Theron did in The Italian Job.

I'm pretty sure I would be good at it too. I was born deaf in my one ear. The operation I had made my ear almost bionic. I can hear really well out of that ear now. That would give me an advantage to hearing the clicks while turning the knob.

Plus, cracking safes for the police department would just be too awesome. I wonder how one gets a job like that? Besides being a reformed criminal.
